Free Ukrainian Language Course to Aid Relief Efforts
Pimsleur stands with Ukraine and with everyone supporting the Ukrainian people.
Bridging a language gap can mean the difference between life and death in a humanitarian crisis. Today, the stakes could not be higher as an estimated 5.3 million refugees have been forced to flee war-torn Ukraine. But unfortunately, many of the international volunteers endeavoring to help are hampered by language barriers.
Dr. Paul Pimsleur left a legacy of language and compassion. From the company’s beginnings, his dream was to build a national language repository to support worldwide humanitarian and climate disaster relief efforts.
Pimsleur began supporting the international humanitarian activities of Doctors Without Borders / Médecins Sans Frontières in 2009 with our language learning programs. In response to the earthquake in Haiti, Pimsleur gave away more than 6,000 Haitian Creole courses to aid workers and rescue organizations. Following the Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami, Pimsleur created and distributed a free 8-hour Japanese course.
Today, we are proud to offer our newly released Ukrainian Premium course for free to everyone in keeping with Dr. Pimsleur’s dream.
Whether you’re a relief worker, a resettlement volunteer, or simply a concerned citizen who wants to help, please take advantage of this free offer, and share it with your friends and family.

Ready to learn and help
I’m concentrating on Spanish for a trip to Mexico but if the free access is available in August, I’d like to get to it and pick up Ukrainian.
This is such a beautiful and nice gesture on your part 🙏
May these efforts contribute in their own way to promote peace, harmony and understanding in the world. 🌷
Thank you! This is a brilliant way to help!
